Ballard City has chosen to ban certain areas of the city to the use of fireworks this season.  A map has been provided for you to view showing these banned areas.  These banned areas are shown in orange.  

Due to the increasing dry, drought conditions in and around Ballard City, the City Council and Fire Chief have discussed the potential ramifications of allowing fireworks in all areas of Ballard City and have elected to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents by banning the use of fireworks in the indicated areas during the current season.  Previously permitted firework celebrations will still be held and we invite all to attend those in celebration of 250 years as a great nation.
